CMB108 Counduit Mounting Bracket

The Conduit Mounting Bracket can be used anywhere that a surface mounted conduit is required to run wires to the face of the magnetic lock. Its a real problem solver!

Typically, this application solves the problem of routing wires through grouted frames. Grouted frames usually hollow metal, are filled with concrete in typical wall construction such as tilt-up concrete walls and often in CMU (concrete masonary unit, aka cinder block) walls. Most of the time the frame stop has not been prepared for the wires to be pulled through to th electromagnetic lock's wiring port.

To avoid drilling into the grouted frames, a Conduit Mounting Bracket can be applied in place of the normal mounting bracket on an 8310. The conduit for the electromagnetic lock is installed on the inside face of the wall and fitted to the CMB's threaded conduit fitting hole. The configuration allows the wires to be pulled from the conduit directly through the mounting bracket and into the lock's wiring port without drilling the large wiring port hole in the frame head.

Furthermore, the CMB works with the other filler bars and angle brackets just like the standard mounting bracket would. This is a great accessory for every stocking distributor. The conduit mounting bracket saves installtion time and it proves a secure, tamper-resistant wiring installlation.
