When material passes over the pulley, ferrous metal objects are attracted by the magnetic field and held tightly as the belt travels around the pulley are not released until they leave the influence of the magnet. Non-magnetic materials follow a normal trajectory. A divider plate can be installed to ensure that no remixing occurs. Standard diameters range from 6" to 36," and standard widths range from 10" to 62." Shaft size depends on length and weight.
