The Schlage A53PD is an ANSI-certified Grade 2 Commercial Keyed Entry door knob. This lock operates using a keyed cylinder on the outside and a push/turn button on the inside. The door is unlocked when the button has not been pressed. Pressing the button locks the door until the next time it is opened either by key or by turning the inside knob; pressing and turning the button will require key for entry until the button is manually disengaged.
