The Schlage D53PD is an ANSI-certified Grade 1 Commercial Keyed Entry door knob. This lock operates using a keyed cylinder on the outside and a push/turn button on the inside. The door is unlocked when the button has not been pressed. Pressing the button locks the door until the next time it is opened either by key or by turning the inside knob; pressing and turning the button will require key for entry until the button is manually disengaged.

- Lock Chassis
- Steel, zinc dichromate plated for corrosion resistance.
- Latch Bolt
- Brass,½" (12mm) throw, deadlocking on keyed and exterior functions.

- Wrought brass, bronze or stainless steel.
- Strike
- ANSI curved lip strike 11⁄4" × 4⅞" × 13⁄16"lip to center standard. Optional strikes, lip lengths and ANSI strike box available.
